Women on Wednesday
In November of 2009, the well-regarded Publisher’s Weekly trade magazine listed its ten best books of 2009.
Nothing wrong with that; they do it annually.
However, in this particular year, each of those books were written by men.
An outcry ensued.
In an attempt to be part of a solution (not THE solution; A solution), I’ve decided to take my Wednesdays and celebrate women.
WOW — Women on Wednesday.
Every Wednesday, write about a book you loved that’s written by a woman. Celebrate a woman author whose books you love. Talk about a book you’re dying to read.
